Self made carkit for GPS/Smartphone in Audi A3

This is how I made and installed my own (smart)phone/gps-holder in a few steps:

Find a metal wood/shelf  holder like this one below in your local DIY-store

Bend and cut it to get it in a shape like this

Pinch the largest piece in between the Audi Concert audio system and the dashboard.
You can put double-sided adhesive tape on the bracket to ensure better attachment.

Glue or screw a plastic universal holder onto the bracket.

Click the phone/GPS... in the phoneholder onto the universal holder on the bracket.
Et voilà!
